Live sensor dashboard
Connect a sensor and watch position, force, voltage, current, pressure, illuminance, or a 3-axis magnetometer stream in real time, with a 10-second sliding chart.
Analyze & export
Pause to pinch-zoom, tap a point to read its value, fit a line or get statistics on a selected region, and export any chart or the whole session as CSV.
Motion, velocity & acceleration
Motion sensors add derived velocity (m/s) and acceleration (m/s²) graphs alongside the position–time chart.
Walk the Graph
Pick a target distance–time curve, walk to match it, and get a live score — five graph sets from basic to creative.
Getting started

- Turn on your sensor and make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone or iPad.

- Open NL Sensor and tap Connect on a device slot. Allow the Bluetooth
permission prompt the first time.

Frequently asked questions

The app can’t find my sensor.
Make sure the sensor is powered on and in range, Bluetooth is enabled, and NL
Sensor has Bluetooth permission (Settings → NL Sensor → Bluetooth). Only one device can be
connected to a sensor at a time — disconnect it elsewhere first.

Does the app work in the iOS Simulator?
Bluetooth is not available in the Simulator. Use a physical iPhone or iPad, or
try the built-in Demo mode to explore the interface without a sensor.
How do I export my data?
Use the share icon on any chart to export that chart, or Export All at the
top to save the entire session as a single CSV through the iOS share sheet.
Can I keep recording with the screen off?
Yes. NL Sensor keeps the sensor connection alive in the background so long-duration
experiments continue when the screen locks. Keep the app connected before locking.
How does Walk the Graph scoring work?
After a 5-second lead-in, your smoothed position is compared to the target curve
at each time step. Matching within about 1 cm scores full marks; the score is the average
match across the curve.
Is my data private?
Yes. All measurements stay on your device. NL Sensor collects no data and has no
accounts or tracking. See our Privacy Policy.
